I'm so tired

Oh my God you say: there are only two questions in today's quiz! Well, I am awfully tired. I will double up tomorrow, but what else? I saw Nicky Hambleton-Jones, of Ten Years Younger Fame, in Covent Garden today (she had a white brolly and a long decorated brown skirt - boo hiss!) and found out that James Blunt used to lug his guitar around the officers' mess to the stock reaction: "God, I wish he would stop singing his whinging songs about Kosovo"! You learn something every day, but not it seems from today's paltry quiz. Anyway, sleep beckons. A far bigger quiz follows on the morrow...

1 Which famous German chess player took part in "The Immortal Game" against Liopnel Kieseritzsky in 1851 and "The Evergreen Game" against Jean Dufresne in 1852?

2 Founded by Nakatomi no Kamatari, which family of regents had a surname given to them by Emperor Tenji and dominated Japanese politics of the Heian period, their regentship beginning in 866?
