Return Fire

Sussex's 2006/7 President's Cup submission to Merseyside Quiz Leagues Mirror Competition

I've been quizzing quite a bit the past few days and things, words, etc, concerning it will appear here sometime soon. For now, I think it is just about safe to put up the President's Cup match I submitted to the MQL in return for the quizzes they furnished us with on a Sunday last season (and because I am struggling to write the next one; indeed, taking sluggish hours over a mere one or two pairs of questions whilst being distracted by putting terms like "spear tackle" into YouTube, and trying not to repeat myself, which I do loads - in terms of phraseology - just looking back at old posts on this blog).

Yep, this one was filled with the modern pop culture nastiness and general worldliness I felt lacking in the ones I was getting on the day of the Lord, along with the old birds and breweries, but with a special twist. It was in all honesty, my revenge. Sweet and tasty like. As I expected, I was told it was too hard and could I tone it down please. I have to say I think I may have gone "Pfttt!", yezzz, like a Frenchman, and said they can have it my way or the highway. Or I may have totally forgotten to reply and let it make its way north with a WARNING (though it may have been given The Magnificent Ambersons treatment in my absence: my glorious vision edited with all the subtlety of a lawnmower). Anyway, hope you like it or find it educational quizzing. Oh yeah, this is how I roll ... You know this is how it could be. All the time.
